  • Patty and Ayla - Water Education Instructors

    image  Patty has an Education Degree and has worked in outdoor education programs in the Yukon extensively before moving to Kimberley to raise her daughter.  Ayla has a Degree in Environmental Science and has a wide variety of environmental education experience. 

  • Dave Quinn - Instructor, Water Education

    Dave Quinn is a Kimberley-based outdoor educator, wildlife biologist, and wilderness guide. He moonlights as a BC-certified teacher and award-winning natural history author and photographer. He is made up of about 65% water and 35% hot air, which has been shown to be a perfect combination for water science.

  • Laura Duncan, Technical Support Coordinator

    Laura’s work experience includes working on the environmental effects of mines and ecosystem restoration projects.  Laura has a Bachelors degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Restoration of Natural Systems.  Her responsibilities include technical program support for water education, demonstration projects, habitat restoration projects and the Columbia Basin Water Quality Monitoring Project.

  • Jim Duncan, Executive Director

    Jim has worked as a research technician at UBC, as a Junior High School librarian and as a Media Librarian/Curriculum Development Coordinator at College of the Rockies.  His area of responsibility include curriculum development, grant management, project coordination and communication services for Mainstreams.  Jim has a MA degree and a Certificate in Technology-Based Distributed Learning.
